What is a rational? In short terms it is my explanation as to why I wrote what I wrote and gives me the chance to explain my decissions.hile writing my online text book I chose to stick to events that concerened the United States government and economy. I choose to involve the war on Iraq because i felt it had a magor impact on our government. What our government was doing about the war, what was going on over there and so forth. I tried to stick to the big picture and try to not be so detailed in order to try and cover more ground. I covered the United States economy the deficits, market crashes, and financial problems because I felt that for this time period those were magor issues. The economic problems created job loss, problems in the goverment, and hugely impacted the public. In my text booki tried to incorporate things i felt greatly impacted the country from oil prices, green house gases, inflamation, down to MRSA and Swine Flu. In truth there were alot of issues and happenings i left out such as the voyager leaving the solar systems, hurricane Katrina, Lance Armstrong winning the tour de France, ect. Though i felt these events had great impacts as well as i was writing the text book I couldn't seem to weave them in quit right and choose to abandon them. That is not to say they don't matter. In conclusion I choose issues that I felt greatly impacted the goverment, economy, and public while staying with a big picture frame of writing in order to cover as much ground as i felt was neccessary.
Picture Rational
I chose my visuals based on my topic's. I included pictures of some of the individuals that were concerened in that topic, or visuals that related to my topic. For example I chose a picture of times square at New Years Eve to symbolize the new millenium. I also chose some political cartoons that I believed gave a good depiction of a public depiction of a situation concerning their country.
